Wow! It’s been a long day and I have decided to give myself what I think is a well earned break. I have just spent the past few hours working on my book. I have been wondering whether or not to give each chapter a particular heading or not. It will be something slightly comical that gives a vague indication of what the contents behold. On one hand this seems like a really cool and light hearted way of introducing people to the subject matter on the other hand my little jokes and sense of humour might not really go down so well with all readers so I guess have to decide closer to book release time. Anyway the chapter I have been writing is based on branding, how to build a massage therapy brand and identifying clear objectives from this exercise. I also include some things that massage therapists should be thinking about when they design their logos. As I thought about this in some detail I realised that there were so many pitfalls that what I thought would be a paragraph or two soon expanded into something else as I went into this in great detail. This will hopefully ensure that your guys will bypass any issues that are likely to come up at a later stage. Don’t worry if you have already designed your logo – I am not going to tell you to do it again but this is just some addition information to massage therapy students that have not quite decided on what to put on theirs. The next thing I talk about in this chapter are business cards. Have you got yours do you know what to put on them. I remember writing an article a while back but his goes in to so much more detail. Next I talk about newsletters, why would you want one – why do you need one, the different mediums and more. This is all great stuff and I hope you guys will have a much fun reading it as I had writing.
